We Turned Ourselves Into Our Favorite Emojis [Now You Do Yours]

Here at the LAist + KPCC newsroom we've been working very hard to bring you all the information you need to make it through this national emergency. We take our public service mission very, very seriously.
We take ourselves a lot less seriously.
Most of us are working from home, per orders to practice social distancing and slow the spread of COVID-19. Although we're remote, we're all staying connected via Slack, Zoom, the good old telephone and telepathy (JK on that last one).
So last week, we got this unusual challenge in our #fun Slack channel:
"Slack emoji re-enactments tomorrow!"

So, even though all reasonable people voted and agreed April Fool's Day was canceled this year, that doesn't mean we can't still bring a smile (aka :joy:) to the masses.
