Warm weather and more light Santa Ana winds today through the weekend

Good morning and happy Friday! Today will be pleasant and sunny — perfect weather for a post-Turkey day trot!

Temperatures will remain mild with some slightly warmer winds traveling in from the northeast.

At the beaches the highs will be in the upper 60s to low 70s — around 69 degrees for L.A. County beaches to 70 degrees for Orange County beaches. Coastal cities will reach the low 70s.

Inland neighborhoods could see temperatures as high as five degrees warmer, ranging between 72 and 76 degrees.

Western San Fernando Valley will likely have a high of 78 degrees for Woodland Hills.

Moving to the desert communities — expect a high of 60 degrees for the high desert, and a high of 74 degrees for the Coachella Valley.

Tonight's lows will drop to the low 50s.

Light to moderate Santa Ana winds will continue today with some gusts up to 35 mph near the coastal slopes of the mountains.
