Happy Halloween! It’s a Thursday, which means the weekend is just around the corner. It was partly cloudy this morning, but will become sunny as the day goes on. That means it’ll be clear skies in time for some tricks and treats.

Quick Facts

  • Today’s weather: Sunny, clear
  • Beaches: Highs in the mid-60s to 70, lows in the upper-40s to mid-50s
  • Mountains: Highs in the mid-60s, lows in the mid-30s to mid-40s
  • Inland: Highs in the mid-60s to around 70, lows in the upper-40s to mid-50s

From the beaches to downtown Los Angeles, it will be in the mid-60s to around 70 degrees. The San Fernando Valley will have lows in the upper-60s and highs in the mid-70s. It’ll be around 70 degrees in the San Gabriel Valley. Meanwhile, the Antelope Valley will be in the upper-50s and 60s all day.

Those clear skies and mild weather are expected to last through Friday. For the weekend, another storm system is set to enter the Southland. The National Weather Service is now reporting that there’s a good chance of light rain in most areas, with snow possible across communities in high elevations in the mountains. That will then turn to dry and warmer conditions for the early part of next week.
