Santa Ana winds come back, bringing the potential of more fire weather this week

Good morning and welcome back to Monday. We're looking at sunny skies and warmer temps in store for SoCal today, with some inland areas reaching the low 80s by midweek.
Santa Ana winds are expected to return tomorrow, bringing the risk of fire weather for L.A. and Ventura counties.
Highs at the beaches will be in the mid 60s, while the inland coast will reach the low 80s for middle of the week. In the high desert, temperatures will reach the upper 60s. For inland areas and valleys, daytime highs will reach the low to mid 70s, topping out at 75 degrees in Woodland Hills. Coachella Valley will reach the mid 70s.
Tonight's lows will drop to the mid 40s.
Lookout for fire weather
Forecasters have issued a fire weather watch for Ventura County and western L.A. from 10 p.m. Tuesday to 3 p.m. Thursday as moderate to strong Santa Ana winds are expected to return, bringing low humidity.
Winds will develop quickly with gusts of between 40 to 55 mph expected. The National Weather Service says they are not anticipating this Santa Ana wind event to be as strong or dry as last week.
