Happy Friday! Today will be mostly cloudy with the sun peaking out at times and we're looking at a cool weekend with showers.

Highs today will mostly be in the 70s — low 70s for the inland areas and valleys, mid 60s along the coast. The high desert will reach 71 degrees, up to 83 degrees in Coachella Valley.
Taking a look at your weekend forecast, some parts of the Southland will experience showers and windy conditions.
The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for San Bernardino and Riverside county mountains, including the high and low desert (Apple, Lucerne and Coachella Valley) starting 8 a.m. Saturday to 11 p.m. Sunday. West winds will range between 25 to 35 mph, with gusts up to 65 mph.
A Pacific storm will bring showers to the Southland starting Saturday morning through Sunday evening. Showers will begin tapering off Sunday night.
Forecasters say rainfall totals are expected to range from a quarter inch along the coasts and valleys and up to an inch in the mountains and deserts.
