Quick Facts

  • Today’s weather: Cool, mostly sunny
  • Beaches: mid 60s
  • Mountains: 50s-60s
  • Inland: upper 60s, low 70s
  • Warnings and advisories: Wind Advisory

Low pressure to our north is bringing in morning clouds, but it will be mostly sunny in the afternoon. Look for high temperatures in the mid to upper 60s from the coast to inland areas, and up to 70 degrees in the San Fernando Valley.

In the mountains and high desert, it'll be windy with highs from 53 to 63, whereas in the Coachella Valley, it'll be windy and warm with highs from 77 to 82.

Tonight's lows will drop to low 50s, and the upper 40s for the valleys. Taking a look ahead — the National Weather Service forecasts a Santa Ana wind event on Thursday.

A wind advisory has been issued for the high desert starting at 3 p.m. until midnight, specifically Apple and Lucerne valleys, including San Gorgonio Pass near Banning where west winds will range between 25 to 35 mph, some gusts reaching up to 55 mph.
