Ready to recycle your Christmas tree? Here's how

It's 2025 and for those who have yet to part with your Christmas tree (the real kind), you have until this month to place it on the curb on your scheduled trash collection day in most communities to get it picked up and recycled.
Details: But there are some exceptions. Click on the links below to find out when tree collection ends in your community.
- Cities in Los Angeles County
- Unincorporated communities in Los Angelees County
- Unincorporated communities in North County, like Agua Dulce and Antelope Valley
Heads up: Cities and unincorporated communities across Los Angeles County are asking residents to keep in mind the following:
- No ornaments, tinsel, lights, nails, or other decorations on your tree
- No plastic or metal tree stands
- No trees wrapped in plastic
- No flocked trees (call in for a bulky item collection)
- No artificial trees (call in for a bulky item collection)
- No blocking of any sidewalks, alleys, or streets.
