Good morning, we hope you're staying safe during this powerful windstorm.

Forecasters say the winds will peak this morning into the afternoon before tapering into Thursday.

Expect mild temperatures today across the Southland. Temperatures will range from the low 70s close to the coast, including the San Fernando Valley and areas around East Los Angeles.

More inland, the San Gabriel Valley and the Inland Empire will see highs in the mid to upper 60s.

For the high desert, cool temperatures will continue, with highs in the upper 50s to low 60s. Tonight's lows will drop to the mid 40s.
