Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross discuss film scoring process for 'Patriots Day'

Atticus Ross and Trent Reznor are longtime musical partners. Ross has produced many albums for Reznor’s band, Nine Inch Nails. And Ross became an official member of the band late last year.

They've also written film scores together, including for David Fincher’s movies, "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" and "The Social Network." The latter won them an Oscar for Best Original Score.

Their most recent film music partnership was for Peter Berg’s film, "Patriot’s Day."

Frame producer Michelle Lanz caught up with the pair after they’d finished that last score to get some insight into their creative process.
