Have you ever listened to a song and wondered how it really came together? Hrishi Hirway is an L.A.-based musician who had the idea of taking apart a song — piece-by-piece — and having artists talk about what goes into making the final product.

Hirway does this on his podcast, Song Exploder, which is a part of the podcast collective Maximum Fun. He spoke with The Frame's John Horn about his latest episode with musician Dave Hill from the band Valley Lodge, and how Hill's song, "Go," was chosen as the theme music for "Last Week Tonight with John Oliver."
