Charter schools in southern California have long been controversial. Supporters see them as a valuable resource, an innovative way to educate students. Opponents say they create inequities and drain much-needed resources from within the public school system. Now, one campus in Woodland Hills could see their charter revoked.
El Camino Real Charter High School faces allegations of financial mismanagement and open meeting violations. Brenda Gazaar is a reporter who's been covering this story for the Los Angeles Daily News. She joined Take Two to tell more about the investigation.
