U.S. program recruited Latin American youth to infiltrate Cuba

A United States aid agency sent young people from Latin America into Cuba and had them work undercover to try and recruit a new generation of activists who would overthrow the Castro regime.

It sounds like the plot for a spy movie, but this actually happened, according to an investigation by the Associated Press. We talked to Desmond Butler of the Associated Press, one of the reporters who worked on the story.
