For all the wrong reasons, he hires a personal trainer named Trevor, played by Guy Pearce. But that professional relationship gets a workout when they both fall for the another trainer at the gym, Kat (Cobie Smulders from "How I Met Your Mother").
The wattage of the cast is a departure for director Andrew Buljawski, who's known for pioneering the film style mumblecore. Those movies typically feature non-professional actors with a mostly improvised script.
