It's time to break out the Spanx and stock up the kleenex - awards season is here. Last week things got started with the New York and LA film critic circle awards. American Hustle, 12 Years a Slave, Gravity and Her all rose to the top of the lists.

The coming days will bring nominations from the Screen Actors Guild and the Golden Globes.

Meanwhile, Jerry Bruckheimer will be moving from Disney to Paramount and will reportedly develop sequels to his early career hits Beverly Hills Cop and Top Gun.

The Indiana Jones franchise, on the other hand, will move from Paramount to Disney.
