Nigeria struggles to deal with terrorist group, Boko Haram

On Monday, the Islamic extremist group Boko Haram attacked a town in northeast Nigeria.

The official death toll remains unknown, although it was initially reported to be as high as 300. The attack is the latest in the ongoing violence perpetrated by Boko Haram. Just three weeks ago, the militants kidnapped more than 270 Nigerian schoolgirls, an act that has resulted in international condemnation.

Here in the U.S., the Obama administration has pledged support to the Nigerian government in finding the young women. BBC journalist, Aliyu Tanko, joins the show with the latest.
