Logistical challenges of getting help to Nepal amid earthquake aftermath

The death toll from the massive earthquake in Nepal has reached more than 4,600.

Millions of Nepalese have been left homeless, and are now suffering through multiple aftershocks, rainy weather and lack of food and water.

Agencies throughout the world are working on relief efforts, but getting humanitarian aid to the areas affected is proving difficult.

Chris Palusky is head of emergency response for World Vision. Palusky is based in the U.S., but he's coordinated responses in disaster areas around the world from Kosovo to the Sudan. He tells more about logistical challenges in time of disaster.
