The beginning of a two-week sweep for literature fans is upon Los Angeles.
The L.A. Festival of Books opens on April 9 and starting tomorrow, authors and readers will gather for the Association of Writers and Writing Programs (AWP) conference and Book fair at the L.A. Convention Center.
Los Angeles will play host to thousands of writers and literature buffs of all stripes. The focus is on scribes from diverse backgrounds, and will include events such as Literaoke (literature and karaoke) and a dive into books from the Asian Diaspora
