California-Mexico border tunnel spanned 2,600 feet, used for drug trafficking

Yesterday, federal authorities announced the discovery of a tunnel running from Tijuana to San Diego... a tunnel used to run drugs. 

This was the 13th such passage found along California's border since 2006. 

There were metric tons of drugs found in the tunnel, consisting of marijuana and cocaine. It was transported through an incredibly narrow rail system that rain throughout the passage.

The construction of the tunnel was incredibly complex, featuring a ventilation and lighting system.
