Advocates advise undocumented youth to avoid travel abroad before Trump takes office

Advocates and lawyers have a warning for young undocumented immigrants who were granted temporary relief by the Obama Administration: don't travel abroad before or during Donald Trump's inauguration.

They're worried that an immediate change or cancellation to the program could stop these immigrants, known as Dreamers, from coming back into the country.

California is home to the largest group of young people eligible for this program, called Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, also known as DACA.
