Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and Beverly Hills Mayor Jimmy Delshad unveiled the "Olympic-West Pico-East" initiative at a news conference this morning. The plan is intended to reduce traffic delays along two of the Westside's most congested corridors by re-timing traffic lights so that those traveling west on Olympic and east on Pico would be rewarded with longer green lights.
