Foreign correspondent Chris Hedges joins Larry to discuss the continuing appeal of war to the human psyche in his book, War is a Force That Gives Us Meaning (Public Affairs). Hedges draws upon his experiences as a correspondent in Bosnia, Israel, and El Salvador to try and understand why war continues to attract politicians, soldiers and civilians.
