Yesterday's May Day immigration rally at Los Angeles' MacArthur Park turned violent--witnesses say demonstrators threw rocks and bottles and police responded with rubber bullets and batons. Fire officials say about ten people were taken by ambulance to hospitals. Several reporters were also hurt, including KPCC's Patricia Nazario.
