The Mystery Of The Anasazi

By the 11th century they had built a flourishing cultural center in an area of what is now New Mexico. The Anasazi's accomplishments in agriculture, art, commerce, architecture, and engineering, rivaled those of the Maya. But by the 13th century, the Anasazi had vanished. Larry talks with Craig Childs about his new book, House of Rain (Little, Brown and Co.), that examines the mystery of the Anasazi's disappearance and brings a new understanding of how their vibrant civilization collapsed.
