Beginning Thursday, The Los Angeles County Museum of Art will be the first stop of a multi-city tour for the exhibition Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharoahs. The exhibition includes 130 works from the Egyptian National Museum, Cairo and presents a selection of 50 objects excavated from the tomb of legendary king. This is first time in 26 years the treasures of the King Tut will be available for viewing in America. Larry Mantle talks with David Silverman, National Curator of the Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharoahs exhibit, and with Nancy Thomas, Deputy Director for Art Administration and Collections, and Curator of Egyptian Art at LACMA.
