Kobe Bryant Charged With Felony Sexual Assault
Last Friday, Colorado's Eagle County, District Attorney Mark Hurlbert charged Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant with one felony count of sexual assault. Bryant has admitted to adultery with a 19-year-old girl who worked at the desk of the hotel in which he was staying, but he denies that any force was involved. Bryant will have to return to Colorado for a hearing on August 6th. If convicted, Bryant could face four years to life in prison. Howard Beck, Lakers' beat writer for the Los Angeles Daily News joins host Larry Mantle to talk about the latest in the Kobe Bryant story. Leonard Levine, a criminal defense attorney specializing sexual assault cases, will also join Larry to discuss the evidence that would have to be present in order for the DA in this case to charge Bryant with sexual assault.
