CBS Corp. announced Thursday that Don Imus, host of Imus in the Morning, has been fired. Imus' MSNBC TV simulcast was canceled the day before. The decision came after civil rights and feminist leaders met with CBS President and Chief Executive Leslie Moonves and four of his executives, and urged them to take a stand against Imus' comments from April 4, when he called the Rutgers University women's basketball team "nappy-headed hos."
