A Transportation Security Administration officer was killed after a gunman armed with a high-powered rifle opened fire at the Los Angeles International Airport this morning around 10 AM. Several others are reported to be wounded.
Flights have been grounded and traffic is stopped in and around LAX.
LAPD officials confirmed around 10:30 that the suspect was in custody, there is no known motive for the shooting.
