GetUnvarnished.com: career booster or destroyer?
There’s a new site on the social networking block – and it’s stirring up controversy. Unvarnished.com lets you anonymously rate your coworkers. But beware, your colleagues can review you right back. It’s sort of a cross between Yelp, where users review businesses, and LinkedIn, where professionals network. Only here, reviews can’t be erased, ever. Not by users anyway. Creators say the site strives to bring accountability and transparency to the office, by giving workers a place to speak their minds freely. But is that really a good idea? Will users be constructive or destructive? David talks with one of the co-founders and takes (lots of) semi-anonymous user calls.
