Long-time OC News contributor Bill Lobdell is starting a new journalism website, iBusinessreporting.com, with Barry Minko, former ZZZZ Best con man who went to prison for a multimillion-dollar swindle. The veteran religion writer and his partner plan to investigate companies they suspect of fraud and corruption and will pay for the endeavor by short-selling many of the companies they are investigating. Larry talks with Bill about his new venture and with an expert in media ethics from the Poynter Institute.
Guests:
William Lobdell, co-publisher of the Newport-Mesa Daily Voice, an online local paper, and author of "Losing My Religion: How I Lost My Faith Reporting on Religion in America - and Found Unexpected Peace"
