Sabrina T. Sanchez

Engagement Producer, Early Childhood Education (she/her)

I build meaningful relationships with parents, caregivers, and early educators raising young Southern Californians and make sure their voices shape our reporting. I take creative approaches to listening and information-sharing, whether that’s hosting playful events for kids or creating welcoming spaces for new parents to be heard and empowered.

Previously, I was the Senior Engagement and Special Projects Producer at ABC10 in Sacramento, where I built deep relationships with underrepresented communities to help shape long-form investigations, accountability reporting, and feature stories. Earlier in my career, I was a fellow at Mother Jones.

My work has been recognized by Peabody, duPont-Columbia, and IRE awards.I’m proud to be from Stockton in the Central Valley — a place, like L.A., that’s rich with diversity, resilience, and hometown pride. I take the responsibility of serving Angelenos seriously, but I still won’t root for the Dodgers. Sorry.
