Michael Cosentino

Senior Producer, On-Demand (he/him)

Michael is a native New Yorker, voice artist, long-time DJ, fontographer, blogger, and a veteran of the news industry. He started his journey at "CBS New Media" in 1997 as a UX designer and front-end developer for CBS and CBS News. In 2003 he joined the New York Times' digital team as Lead UI Designer where he introduced columnists to blogging and helped design their first digital paywall. In 2006 he found himself in Paris, as the Design Director for The International Herald Tribune where he led a top-down site redesign.

He's also done consulting work for media organizations like Fox Sports, The Sporting News, HBO, and PBS, and was once the editor-in-chief of Parisist.com.

Now in L.A. at SCPR, he manages our on-demand content, helping to distribute it digitally across all devices and platforms. He's also the creator and producer of our daily podcast The L.A. Report.
