What I cover
I share partner content with LAist’s audience and help spread our journalism across California.
My background
Born and raised in East Hollywood, it’s been a privilege to work in Los Angeles as an editor in television, radio and digital newsrooms for over 20 years. Thanks to what I learned during my participation in a weekly, student-produced news show back at John Marshall High School, I get to say that I’m doing the thing I’ve wanted to do since I was a kid.
My goals
I want to expand the reach of LAist’s journalism and to harness the reporting across our public media network so that our audience gets a fuller picture of the world around them.
Best way to reach me
If you’d like to become an LAist media partner or have any questions about republishing one of our stories, you can reach me at kgacad@laist.com.
