What I cover
I am the afternoon host for LAist’s All Things Considered weekday magazine show.
My background
I’ve hosted All Things Considered and the L.A. Report Evening Edition since July 2024. Before that I was the host of LAist’s Weekend Edition and was a producer for daily news, and earlier LAist shows, The Frame, and Take Two. I won an L.A. Press Club award for reporting on the intersection of homelessness and domestic violence. Before my career in journalism, I worked in organizing and strategic communications. My education is deeply steeped in the arts as an alumni of CalArts and LaGuardia Arts. I grew up in New York City and after living and working all over L.A. County for the past 20 years, now live in the San Gabriel Valley.
My goals
I’m here to help listeners cut through the daily noise to stay in the know about daily news that affects their lives. Along the way, I provide context and advice for the challenging parts of local life, and celebrate SoCal culture and the people who make our region unique.
