I lead an events team that strives to engage with fellow Angelenos through inclusive and reflective in-person and virtual experiences. From issue-driven public forums and debates to performative presentations, live broadcasts, and community conversations, we facilitate interactive gatherings in our Crawford Family Forum and in venues around greater Los Angeles.
I grew up in the suburbs of Washington D.C. and went to college in southern Virginia, graduating with a degree in Theatre Arts. Multiple national tours as a professional actor, where public radio seemed to be one of few constants in our extensive travels, helped prepare me for a second career at Southern California Public Radio.
Living in L.A. for almost twenty years has turned my blood Dodger blue, contributed to an obsession with chilaquiles, and has provided a nuanced, complex, and necessary backdrop for life with my wife and son.
