About my job

I lead programming at LAist. I manage the programming, promotion and distribution of the organization's content across platforms to increase engagement and grow audience and membership. I work closely across the organization — including with hosts, reporters, on-demand, product, underwriting, development, membership, operations, finance and outside content partners — to help evolve LAist from a traditional radio company into a modern media organization.

My background

My professional career has been in media encompassing digital, mobile, network and cable television, film and radio. Before LAist, I was a programming consultant for NPR, focusing on station sound, program schedules and on-air promotion. I was also a senior executive at NBC, AOL, VH1 and Tribune Media.

My goals

I want to help LAist develop and grow into the primary news, information and lifestyle brand for Los Angeles. I want to be part of the core team that innovates and redefines how local media delivers content and connects to audiences. And as part of local media innovation, I want to help develop new revenue streams to sustain and grow the business.
