What I cover
I’m digging into election coverage this fall, working on voter guides as part of LAist’s Voter Game Plan team and answering questions about voting and what’s on the ballot, along with other topics.
My background
I’ve spent the past few years as a freelance journalist covering housing, homelessness and the environment in Southern California, and before that I covered the environment for The Desert Sun in Palm Springs.
My goals
I want my coverage to help Southern Californians make informed decisions at the ballot box, and to help everyone better understand the issues shaping their communities, from their local neighborhood to the state as a whole.
