About my job

I oversee the technical operations for one of the largest public radio station operations in the United States, including 89.3 KPCC-FM, 89.1 KUOR-FM in the Inland Empire, 90.3 KVLA-FM in the Coachella Valley and 89.5 KJAI-FM in Ojai, with both a Palm Springs and Santa Barbara translator. With nearly 500,000 listeners each week, LAist is the most listened to public radio news service in Southern California. I have management responsibilities for the operations, engineering, production and facilities departments, and I’m the point person for shared IT services.

My goals

I work to ensure our technical infrastructure aligns with current trends and emerging technologies in how we capture, produce and distribute audio and visual content. My goal is to consistently deliver high-quality audio and video to our audiences. I’m also focused on meeting our nonprofit organization’s most critical needs, while staying on budget.
