Go Fact Yourself is a pop culture trivia show hosted by J. Keith van Straaten (he/him) (Ask Me Another, Senior Writer) and Helen Hong (she/her) (Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me, recurring panelist).

On February 15, model/actor Dree Hemingway (Sean Baker’s “Starlet”) and actor/producer Eric Winter (“The Rookie”), plus surprise guest experts will join J. Keith and Helen for a trivia show like no other!

Register for free for general admission or reserve a guaranteed seat for $20. Concessions available starting at 6 p.m.

ABOUT ERIC WINTER

Actor and producer Eric Winter continues to display versatility through his dynamic performances across film and television. Currently, Winter stars in ABC’s hit police procedural series “The Rookie,” opposite Nathan Fillion. He stars as the fan favorite Sgt. Tim Bradford, a strict no-nonsense police officer. “The Rookie” has not only taken the coveted spot as one of ABC’s top scripted drama shows but is also ranked as one

of Hulu’s most watched series with nearly 500 million hours streamed since 2018. Season Eight of “The Rookie” will premiere in early 2026. In June 2024, Winter launched a new venture: Palm Republic, a handcrafted premium, unique

blend of rums from diverse rum-making regions – Panama, Jamaica, and the US Virgin Islands. The award-winning rum has earned awards at the renowned San Francisco World Spirits Competition, New York World Spirits Competition, and Las Vegas Global Spirit Awards, among others. Winter first fell in love with rum on his first trip to Puerto Rico, when he was meeting his now in-laws, and since then, has had a passion for the spirit, carefully developing Palm Republic by collaborating with expert mixologists and masters of spirits to achieve a unique premium rum. The brand is partnered with the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, which was created to help Gold Star and fallen first

responder families as well as injured veterans and first responders. The rum is sold online and currently available in select retail stores around the country.

Recently, on the television side, Winter juggled back-to-back recurring roles on ABC’s thriller “Secrets & Lies,” FOX’s drama “Rosewood,” and ABC’s medical drama “The Good Doctor.” Winter’s other television credits include starring in Lifetime’s “Witches of East End” opposite Jenna Dewan, CBS’ “The Mentalist” and ABC’s “GCB” opposite Kristin Chenoweth and Leslie Bibb. He also starred in Lifetime’s television movie “Sundays at Tiffany’s,” opposite Alyssa Milano, ABC’s “Brothers & Sisters,” CBS’ cult vampire drama “Moonlight,” “The Ex List,” and “Viva Laughlin.” Winter has also been seen on the big screen, co-starring in the second installment of the cult comedy “Harold and Kumar, ” playing the role of Colton in “Harold & Kumar: Escape from

Guantanamo Bay.” He then starred in New Line’s romantic comedy “The Ugly Truth,” opposite Katherine Heigl and Gerard Butler; and has also appeared in the action feature “Fire with Fire,” alongside Josh Duhamel, Rosario Dawson and Bruce Willis.

Winter is also a producer, working behind the scenes on numerous television and feature projects that he is spearheading. He also co-hosts the weekly iHeartRadio podcast “He Said, Ella Dijo” with his wife Roselyn Sanchez. Defining the meaning of “opposites attract,” together the couple discuss everything from relationships to parenting to current entertainment news and more. He currently resides in Los Angeles with his family.


ABOUT J. KEITH VAN STRAATEN

J. Keith van Straaten is a content producer/writer for TV game shows, including The Hustler, Master Minds, Funny You Should Ask, and In the USA Today, and wrote trivia questions for Bally Sports. He was also a longtime senior writer on NPR’s Ask Me Another.

Previously, he wrote many of the games on GSN’s Chain Reaction and the iPhone trivia app Arena. He created and hosted the live matchmaking show The Fix-Up Show, as well as hosting What’s My Line? – Live On Stage and Comedy Central’s Beat The Geeks.

J. Keith has appeared on Best Week Ever, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Beverly Hills, 90210, and a deleted scene in Gilmore Girls.

As a journalist, J. Keith has written about COVID and comedy for the Los Angeles Times, points and miles for ThePointsGuy.com, and theatre for tdf Stages magazine.

J. Keith has two cats and is an avid Angels fan.


ABOUT HELEN HONG

A fan favorite on the hit NPR podcast Wait Wait Don't Tell Me, Helen Hong also co-hosts the celebrity trivia game show podcast Go Fact Yourself. Helen's acting credits include roles on Never Have I Ever, Silicon Valley, the Jennifer Garner Christmas movie Family Switch, and 5 seasons of The Thundermans on Nickelodeon.

A long-time touring standup comedian, Helen's comedy special Well Hong was co-produced by Comedy Dynamics and Tribeca Film Festival, and is streaming now on Amazon Prime & Apple TV+. Audiences love Helen's lightning quick crowdwork which can be seen on her Instagram and TikTok @funnyhelenhong.

A breast cancer survivor, Helen makes light of her cancer experience (and her "fresh new boobies") onstage. She also brings light to Asian-American issues with her family's YouTube channel "Old Korean Dad Stories."
