The longtime politician and former Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors Chair Zev Yaroslavsky discusses his new political memoir at The Autry. The son of Ukrainian Jews who immigrated to the United States in the early 1920s, the book follows his journey as a young social activist who worked to free Soviet Jews before entering the world of politics. A book signing and a light reception will follow the conversation.
