I grew up in Washington, D.C., the adopted hometown of Spanish chef José Andrés, where his restaurant Zaytinya, has been a favorite for years. Finally, an outpost has opened here in L.A., where Mediterranean flavors can be found at the new Culver City spot. The venue also features Butterfly, a rooftop bar highlighting Mexican flavors.

    Grab your bowling ball and a White Russian and join us for a special FilmWeek screening of “The Big Lebowski.” Come watch Joel and Ethan Coen's 1998 L.A. crime comedy on the big screen with a few hundred other fans. We’ll be screening the film at the Gardena Cinema, a family-owned nonprofit independent theater that has been continually showing movies since 1946.

    Comedy, wordplay, music, and trivia abound in THE CROSSWORD SHOW, as host Zach Sherwin (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Epic Rap Battles of History) guides a pair of guest panelists through solving a crossword puzzle live onstage, with everything displayed on a big screen so the audience can follow the action.
