Gordon Ip (any pronouns) is an artist seeking truth in all mediums. He acts, writes, directs, performs- all to seek moments that connect us all through the undeniable. One particular truth they are currently growing in and from is the truth of the Asian American experience- how it moves, how it lives in the consistently voiceless. They are most interested in giving their experience of this truth a voice that it so desperately needs and a chance to use that voice that it so seldom gets. Universally, living a diasporic, undocumented immigrant experience has given them a lens that they can only humbled by and made a student of on a daily basis. They are constantly tackling ideas of: self-expression, self-identity, spirituality, perspective, community, and culture.
Cortunay Minor (she/they) is currently pursuing a B.A. in Theater from the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television. From living intersectionally as a queer, Black, feminine-of-center individual, to implementing connected learning as an interdisciplinary creator, Cortunay deeply values collaboration, collectivity, and togetherness. In pursuit and practice of those principles, Cortunay often gravitates towards ensemble-focused productions such as new play festivals and devising workshops. Keep up with Cortunay @cortunay.m on Instagram.
