The LA Opera's annual presentation of movies and live music returns with director James Whale's 1935 gothic horror classic The Bride of Frankenstein. While the film screens, the audience hears composer Franz Waxman’s original soundtrack score played live by the LA Opera Orchestra. Jenny Wong, the newly appointed San Francisco Symphony Chorus Director and the Associate Artistic Director of the Los Angeles Master Chorale, conducts in her LA Opera debut. The audience is invited to come in costume.
