The Sunland-Tujunga Indigenous Peoples Day celebration brings together the music, dance, storytelling and spoken word heritage of the native peoples of our local land. Cultural ambassadors like multi-instrumentalist Christopher Garcia, storytellers Ted and Dennis Garcia, and climate steward Dyann Dominguez will share their expertise. Learn about the Tongva, Tataviam, Chumash and other native populations, eat heritage foods and learn native crafts.
