110 Freeway in South Pasadena/L.A.

Run or walk the Arroyo Seco Parkway, better known as the 110 Freeway—and best known as the freeway with the really short on-ramps. But for this 10k, you don't have to worry about dodging cars as the road will be closed to everyone except you and a couple thousand of your closest running pals. Runners are encouraged to begin lining up no later than 6:45 a.m. at Orange Grove St. The race will start on time at 7 a.m. Participants will then hit the on-ramp and head north toward Pasadena and turn around after passing the Fair Oaks overpass bridge, ending near the Avenue 26 exit. This event is part of ArroyoFest, which is free to attend.
