LAist Ticket Giveaway: Dinosaur Jr.

A promotional image for Dinosaur Jr. at The Bellwether. Enter to win a pair of tickets to see Dinosaur Jr. at The Bellwether this Friday, Oct. 16. Known for iconic ‘90s guitar songs like “Start Choppin’” and “Feel the Pain,” the trio is back with There Near, their sixth album since reforming 20 years ago.

New songs like “Several Got Away” and “Everything At Once” feel both fresh and reassuringly familiar – “an instantly recognizable blend of loose vocals, sharp guitars and an animalistic rhythm section,” writes music critic Byron Coley.

The winner will be notified by Thursday, October 15 at 4 p.m.
