We’re listening to your stories and insights and bringing them back to our newsroom to help improve and shape our news coverage. We may show up at a coffee shop, burger spot, flea market, or wherever people create community.
Come meet LAist journalists at the Watts Branch Library on Tuesday, Aug. 25 at 3 p.m. for their program, where kids can learn more about the age of dinosaurs! Before and after the program, we're looking to hear from families about child care affordability. We'll bring your experiences directly to candidates running for office this year and ask them about their plans to address child care costs. Stop by to speak with us, participate in a kids' drawing activity and pick up some LAist swag.
