The Silverlake Independent Jewish Community Center is hosting a family-friendly ballot education forum!
With the help of local experts like LAist, the nonpartisan event will walk through the upcoming Los Angeles ballot to help people make informed choices about the items that most deeply affect their families and communities, and help untangle those tricky ballot items that people might otherwise just skip.
While the parents are digging in on the full ballot, the kids will be digging in on pizza and a fun-filled program of voting education and games. Children 2 and under must stay with parents in the forum. RSVP is required.
Come for the pizza, stay for democracy. (Or vice versa!)
