About Chase Masterson

First things first: “Chase Masterson” was an answer on Jeopardy!

Best known for her breakout role as the intergalactic casino girl Leeta for 5 Seasons on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and reprisals of that role from 2010 – 2023 in Star Trek Online (Mirror Universe Leeta, Empress of the Terran Empire) and Lower Decks (First Lady of Ferenginar), Chase Masterson is also a fan favorite for her role as Vienna in Doctor Who: Big Finish, in which she currently stars opposite Eric Roberts. Chase previously starred in the title role of VIENNA for 4 Seasons of this Doctor Who spin-off for Big Finish. Her Guest Star roles include The Flash and General Hospital, and she has been the lead in over a dozen films.

AOL listed Chase as one of the “Ten Sexiest Aliens” in TV history for her break-out role on “Star Trek: Deep

Space Nine,” one of the highest-rated internationally syndicated shows of all time.

TV Guide’s Online Readers Poll voted Chase the “Favorite Science Fiction Actress on Television” for her

role on Deep Space Nine.

• Sci-Fi Universe Magazine honored her as one of the “Top 20 People to Watch in Hollywood.”

• UGO included her in their list of the “Top 25 TV Hotties, and the Schlubs They Inexplicably Love.”

• Femme Fatales listed Chase as one of the “50 Sexiest Women of the Year.”

• Film Fetish has listed Chase in their “Hot Leading Ladies of Film.”

Chase is the Founder of The Heroic Journey, a national nonprofit which uses pop culture + psychology to teach life-saving strategies to children and teens. She has spoken about their work at the United Nations, Google HQ, UNESCO HQ, World Anti-Bullying Forum, International Bullying Prevention Association, TEDxVienna, and the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science. Leading kids to be heroes for themselves and each other, Chase featured the UN, Amnesty USA, and other NGOs at their first comic-con appearances, creating an intersection between heroism onscreen and heroism in real life. Chase produced and directed the world’s largest and most comprehensive set of behavioral health videos for children, teens, parents, and instructors. Not bad, for a Dabo girl.
