ABOUT THOMAS JANE
Actor, Director, and Author Thomas Jane is a triple Golden Globe Award nominee for the comedy series Hung, and has starred in such classic films as The Thin Red Line, Deep Blue Sea, Boogie Nights, The Punisher, and The Mist. He won critical acclaim for his role as New York Yankees baseball legend Mickey Mantle in HBO’s 61* and was seen on TV in the Alcon/SyFy series The Expanse, which he also directed.

Thomas’s production company, Renegade, launched in 2019 and recently released the second season of their scripted series Troppo (based on the bestselling novel by Candice Fox). Thomas stars and directs in that series, for Amazon and AGC Studios.

During the 2020s, Renegade Entertainment completed production on: Murder At Yellowstone City(starring Gabriel Byrne, Isaiah Mustafa, and Thomas Jane); The Last Son (starring Thomas Jane, Sam Worthington, and Colson Baker); and the noir thriller Dig (starring Thomas Jane, Harlow Jane, and Emile Hirsch). In 2025, he wrapped the upcoming western Frontier Crucible with Armie Hammer, which Jane both produces and stars.

Thomas and Renegade co-created the comic book miniseries The Lycan, just released on ComiXology Originals. Thomas is also producing the thriller Gathering Dark for MGM, based on the novel by Candice Fox. In 2020, Thomas starred in 20th Century Fox’s The Predator, directed by Shane Black, and in 2025 he worked with Shane again on Play Dirty with Mark Wahlberg.

Thomas is currently completing his non-fiction book, A Human’s Guide to Visiting Aliens. After 80 years of first-hand eyewitness reports about what were once called flying saucers, then UFOs, now UAP, it’s time to ask: what kind of universe do we live in?

It turns out the real world is much more fantastic than what we were taught at school. The existence of visiting aliens radically alters the landscape of our reality, from evolution to the nature of consciousness, from God and love to our understanding of time and space, advanced visiting aliens will radically alter our concept of the universe — and ourselves.
