Hollywood Forever holds its 24th installment of their iconic Día y Noche de los Muertos celebrations this Saturday featuring art installations, altars and ofrendas, food and drinks, cultural and musical performances all celebrating the living and the dead. This year’s theme is Máscaras de México - Vida y Muerte en La Máscara (“Masks of Mexico: Life and Death in the Mask"). Daytime performances by DannyLux and Irene Diaz with DJs from Altura art gallery studio space in Lincoln Heights (DJ Fuego, DJ Fondo, DJ Discos Rolas & DJ Cozmic Vibes). The nighttime performers include Bomba Estereo, Bratty, Camila Fernandez and Banda Las Angelinas, beats by Nochenegra from Mexico City featuring DJ Mar and DJ El Keamo. Tickets must be purchased for both events.
